Before the farm, I was fully immersed in my medical career as a breast radiologist. My days were long, intense, and emotionally demanding. I loved caring for my patients, but the work was heavy. Life moved fast. Too fast, in fact — so fast that my own needs fell to the very bottom of the list.
I was a physician, a mom, a partner, and a woman who rarely paused long enough to breathe.
The farm began as a dream — a gentle idea that maybe life could include space, nature, and a different kind of peace.
I had no idea then how important that dream would become.
