There was a time in my life when everything looked “successful” on paper — but didn’t feel that way inside.
I had spent decades in healthcare. Long hours, constant pressure, and a pace that never slowed down. Like so many people, I kept pushing forward because that’s what you do… until one day, I realized I didn’t feel like myself anymore.
Everything changed after one simple weekend trip.
I visited an alpaca farm.
And something clicked.
It wasn’t just the animals (though, let’s be honest — they’re pretty irresistible). It was the feeling.
Slower.
Simpler.
More connected.
Within days, I made a decision that would completely change my life — I was going to start a farm.
That decision became what is now Eagle Eye Farm.
What started with a handful of alpacas quickly grew into something much bigger — something meaningful. A place where people can come to reconnect. With animals. With nature. With themselves.
And honestly… with joy.
This life isn’t easier — but it’s real.
It’s early mornings, muddy boots, and a lot of responsibility.
But it’s also laughter, healing, and a kind of purpose I never experienced before.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:
Sometimes the path that makes the least sense on paper…
is the one that brings you back to life.
